Welcome to my "Wanderlust Diaries - Chapter One" featuring a short city trip to Athens, Greece.

These diaries will be used to kind of sort out various photo series in different places and I hope you enjoy the travel inspiration just as much as I loved capturing those special moments.

Athens is full of history and therefore can be more than just a layover before visiting the greek islands.

Quick Travel Advice: Enjoy a good breakfast on top of Lykabettus Hill before heading to your sightseeing and history filled day. Start early as it gets hot quite fast and enjoy a few moments of silence and calmness. After soaking up the amazing view get going to Athens most famous sights such as the Akropolis, Temple of Zeus, the Olympic Stadium, the Agora etc.

Also dearly recommended - a day at Vouliagmeni beach!
